Bishop John Barres visited six Catholic Health Services hospitals on Friday, May 22, to offer a blessing at each facility. He was joined by CHS President & CEO Dr. Alan D. Guerci. The blessing, which came just days after New York State allowed elective surgeries to resume at hospitals across Long Island, signified that CHS hospitals are safe for patients in need of all medical care.

Below are photos from the Bishop’s visit to Mercy Medical Center, Rockville Centre; St. Joseph Hospital, Bethpage; Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, West Islip; St. Charles Hospital, Port Jefferson; St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center, Smithtown and St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center®, Roslyn.
