Bishop Murphy Authorizes Expanded Special Collection to Aid those Affected by Earthquake in Italy and Floods in Louisiana

Bishop William Murphy  asked for prayers and that a voluntary collection be taken up in the parishes of the Diocese of Rockville Centre to assist those suffering the effects of the severe flooding in Louisiana and the devastating earthquake of Aug. 23, 2016 in Central Italy.

To contribute to the Diocese of Rockville Centre’s Flood-Earthquake Relief Fund, parishioners are asked to contact their local parish or send a donation to the Finance Office, Diocese of Rockville Centre, P.O. Box 9023, Rockville Centre, NY 11571-9023.  Checks should be made out to the Diocese of Rockville Centre.  “Flood-Earthquake Relief” should be marked on the memo section of the check.  For more information call 516-678-5800, ext. 633.
