In honor of the Solemnity of Mary Mother of God, on the January 1st, the 211th anniversary of Haiti’s independence, the Haitian-American Apostolate Ministry (HAAM) invites all Haitians and others to celebrate Mass at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre at 2 p.m. Bishop Robert J. Brennan will preside.
The theme for the day will be “Mary, Mother of God, help us to become the house where God dwells.” Following Mass there will be a cultural celebration in the parish center from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
