Artists paint an image of Pope Francis on the side of a building in New York City Aug. 27. The mural, which will be 225-feet tall when completed, faces Madison Square Garden, where the pope will celebrate Mass Sept. 25. The artwork was commissioned by DeSales Media Group, the communications and technology arm of the Diocese of Brooklyn.
The Diocese has released the following statement with regard to Tickets to Papal Mass at Madison Square Garden on Sept. 25:
Many thanks to all who participated in the lottery requesting tickets for the Papal Mass at Madison Square Garden with Pope Francis on September 25th. We received over 8,000 requests. We are no longer accepting ticket request forms. Those who are selected to receive tickets will be notified by mail sometime next week (after September 16th) with instructions regarding where and when tickets will be distributed.
Let us all continue to pray for Pope Francis as he prepares for his apostolic visit to the United States!
