Catholics for Freedom of Religion is holding a Rosary Rally for Religious Liberty & the Preservation of Catholic Healthcare on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the front parking lot of Good Samaritan Hospital located at 1000 Montauk Hwy, West Islip.

The mandate from Health and Human Services calls for fines on Catholic hospitals, and other religious institutions, of $100 per day per employee, as of Jan.1, 2014, if they do not comply with new mandates for health insurance coverage of products and services that directly violate Catholic teachings.

The threat to First Amendment freedom of religion and conscience is critical and imminent.

Join with fellow Catholics from many Long Island parishes in prayerful petition to the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. Come together to lift your voices in public prayer and witness for intercession and inspiration to preserve First Amendment Freedom of Religion and Catholic Healthcare for Americans of all Faiths. Speakers will be on hand to give the latest news.

Limited seating will be available for the handicapped.
