In observance of All Saints’ Day, sixth-grade students at SS. Philip and James School, St. James, dressed as their favorite saints and, along with their schoolmates, attended the parish’s 9:15 a.m. Mass on the November 1 holy day. The young saints proclaimed the readings, delivered the general intercessions and gathered around the altar during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Following Mass, 18 students in teacher Lori Naso’s class stood before the assembly and read brief biographies they had written about respective saints.

The saints’ pageant is an annual sixth-grade tradition at SSPJ school, with this year marking the 32nd time the event had been presented.
