Bishop John Barres visited Long Beach Catholic Regional School March 28. Principal Kerry Kahn called it a “great-great visit,” which included a prayer service and time to chat with students and parents. The bishop met with a sixth grade student who had written to the bishop asking for prayers for his teacher who was battling cancer. ¬†Students presented the bishop with a hand-painted mini surfboard.
