Camp Quo Vadis is a week-long summer camp for young Catholic men and women graduating eighth grade through high school seniors. The camp provides an opportunity for them to encounter God in new and real ways and to hear the question Quo Vadis? ( Where are you going?)
Through dynamic speakers, devotional and prayer experiences, small group, private prayer, fun and games the Camp Quo Vadis team will seek to give the future leaders of Long Island and the Diocese of Rockville Centre the tools they need to see where God is calling them to go.
This year’s camp opened on Sunday, July 7th with Mass for campers and their families with camp staff. Bishop Andrzej Zglejszewski was the principal celebrant. Concelebrants included Father Matt Browne and Alex Turpin, both of whom were ordained last month.
