Roadside witness
While a minor bus fire kept some marchers from Christ the King parish, Commack, from joining the March for Life in D.C., that didn’t stop them from witnessing for life on the side of the Long Island Expressway while waiting for “rescue” buses. “I got lots of beeps and thumbs up from the cars passing by.,” said Grace Collucci. “I even had one car open the window and yell out a ‘thank you.’ We were all greatly disappointed, but we prayed and know that it was God’s will that we share our message this year here on Long Island.”
